DVLab Fiber Optic_TV Studio System.
The system consists of two units - a studio unit and a camera unit, connected by an optical cable.
All signals necessary for the system's operation, except for power, are transmitted via fiber optics.
Camera Fiber optic converter
The camera fiber optic converter for PTZ and operator cameras is part of the camera interface system for television studios.
It provides a two-way optical connection to the studio unit, which makes it possible to use it for SDI signal transmission over standard SDI.
for SDI signal transmission over standard single-mode optical cable.
It also provides director-to-operator circular communication, TALLY signals and PTZ camera control signals via optics.
Input signals -1xSDI 3G, or 1x12G SDI (from the camera).
Signals are received on the return channel from the TV studio:
Tally
Synchronization signal for camera.
PTZ camera control (Visca protocol).
Communication to the operator.
Video for the operator*.
Connectors:
Power connector +12v and an additional connector +12v for the possibility of powering from one power supply any other devices.
A mini-jack connector for communication.
DB9 connector for camera control.
Indication +12v and Tally.
SFP module connector.
Transmission distance over 500m.
*Selectable in the module settings . The video signal for the operator can be SD SDI or HD SDI.
If HD SDI signal is selected, PTZ camera control is not transmitted.
Studio Fiber Optic converter.
It provides receiving video signals via optical channel from up to 3 or 6 cameras and transmitting control signals to them. The unit is available for 3 or 6 cameras.
Inputs:
SDI 3G /12 G SDI - basic version 3, maximum 6.
Signals transmitted to cameras:
PTZ camera control via VISCA protocol.
Synchronization signal for cameras.
Video control for the operator.
Tally signals for cameras.
Intercom for the operator
Ethernet 100 mbit/s for control and upgrades.
Connectors
SDI- BNC(3-6)
Synchronization BNC(1)
FPS module connectors(3-6).
Audio mini-jack(1).
PTZ camera control DB9(1)
Power connector +12v .
The transmission distance is more than 500m.
PTZ cameras are controlled in parallel. Control signals are sent to each camera separately, in contrast to the option of controlling cameras via RS 232, where control signals are supplied by a loop from camera to camera. This significantly increases reliability.
